Build Wind Turbines With Your Team.

In this team building activity, participants gather to design and build renewable energy devices. The team members work together to design and construct functional wind turbines using sustainable green materials that we will provide.

 

Renewable Energy Wizards are encouraged to explore different ideas and approaches to achieve their goal and to be creative in their approach. The task of building energy devices is complex enough to require effective collaboration and communication among team members. During the activity, participants learn the importance of working together to solve complex problems and sharing skills and ideas.

 

Renewable Energy Wizards also develop their ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Eventually, teams present their functional energy device, and the best designs are rewarded. This challenging and interactive activity is ideal for organizations looking to develop collaboration, creative thinking, and problem-solving within their team.

 

The mission:

Teams comprising 7 to 8 participants will create wind-powered devices to raise a weight 1 meter off the ground, with a limit of 20 teams. Participants will receive a box of building materials and are expected to use them efficiently, taking into account the carbon footprint of each component to minimize the device's total footprint. Upon completion and testing of the device, teams will have the opportunity to optimize for an even lower carbon footprint.
